Orcadesign is an award winning multidisciplinary design consultancy in product design and development with offices based in Singapore, Malaysia and Beijing.
Their clientele covers a wide spectrum of industries and includes renowned brands including Hewlett Packard, Motorola, Philips, Maclaren and Stabilo. Orcadesign specialises in research, design, engineering and modeling to create truly spectacular products that excite the senses through both form and functionality.
What we did
Otaku designed the 2009 ‘Makedreams’ exhibition microsite which was launched in conjunction with the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) conference held in Singapore. The ICSID is a global not-for-profit organisation that promotes better industrial design around the world. It is in more than 50 countries, representing an estimated 150 000 designers.
With Otaku’s expertise in social media and astute understanding of its advantages in reaching out to a target audience, Otaku integrated a live twitter feed for interactivity and engineered a customised photo uploader for the microsite.
